API to SET the timeframe in a Cost Tracker API

Currently I'm using Jira Advanced Roadmap and in that tool I have my projects with dates.
Now I want to include Tempo Cost tracker and I see that it's needed to create a project in cost tracker to track the cost. As the projects in cost tracker will match the projects that I have in Jira Advanced Roadmaps I'm exploring to automate the process.
I see that the Cost Tracker API has CreateProject and a GetTimeframe, but I can not find any API to SET the timeframe to the same values that I have in my Jira Advanced Roadmaps.
How can I do that? Could you extend te API to do that?
