Ability to assign total available hours to a sprint (PSA)

We are professional services providers and in general, the business model is not supported by JIRA Tempo. It is very time consuming to get "Live" status and manual calculations need to take place each time to get to the remaining hours that are available.


In professional services, the client buys a number of support days per month and there are no ticket estimates in the majority of cases. We run monthly sprints and we would like to be able to assign 10 days of support per month/sprint and as users are logging their time against the unestimated tickets in Jira, it should chip away from the total available for the month. In the reporting it should be clearly visible how many hours/days were assigned for the month/sprint, how many consumed, and how many are still available.


If the hours weren't consumed completely, there should be option to transfer the difference to the next month/sprint. It depends on the contract with the client, in some cases the client is not entitled to carry the remaining hours over to the next month/sprint and it is lost if not consumed.


I wish this could be available in Tempo so we wouldn't need to run spreadsheets in parallel. Thank you for considering this feature and feel free to reach out if you need more details on the processes.
