Exclude teams from dropdown in screen via workflow properties

I would like to be able to exclude certain teams from dropdowns in any screen when I want.

Example: I have an issuetype which is only used in development and therefore would only want the development teams to be an option in the dropdown. Currently jira offers the option to exclude resolution in workflow transitions via workflow properties. See here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-workflow-properties/

Something like this would be appreciated.
