We want to introduce Tempo in 2022. After installing Tempo in 2022, 2019, 2020, 2021 are automatically created.
The first period should become a global parameter and the system should not be "waisted" with outdated and unused periods.
If this is not possible for technical reasons, then there should be at least a fourth option in the period management, which in addition to "Closed for all" also prevents a submit for all users with "approve timesheet" rights.
The current UX is confusing and bad because I see all the unused periods and can submit them.
