We have a requirement that if somebody tries to book vacation / holiday, that it prevents the booking being submitted for approval, if certain individuals are also off during that period.
We need this, as we are not a large company and so it just avoids the situation where we find a manager and a staff member are off during the same period.
The requirement does not specifically have to apply to holiday or vacation, the idea is for a feature that allows for rules to be defined and executed at chosen stages of a workflow.
