Assign a resource to an issue Tempo planner - change the Assignee in Jira

  1. Create an issue in Jira (assignee is unassigned) (eg key INT-123)

  2. Go into Tempo planner - assign a resource (Res-ABC) to INT-123


The assignee for INT-123 is updated to Res-ABC

(Note: Res-ABC is a Jira user)


Use case:

  1. Requester submit a request in Jira

  2. Resource Mgr use Tempo planner to plan and assign resources

  3. Assignee get notified (via Jira notification)

  4. Requester and Assignee work together to close the request.
