A user should be have the ability to filter Closed or Done tickets from the Issue Picker. Without this feature in place, using the Assigned filter in the Issue Picker is pointless since it is displaying Done/Closed issues that a user would not be applying time to.

Hi all, this is very crucial that closed issues / internal keys are hidden or does not populate any more on dash. The user is able to run a query to display only active keys .Thank you
Agree with previous comments. I’d like to be able to supply an optional global JQL filter, matching issues only would show up in the issue search dialog. For our usage this would be “status != Closed”
This is crucial. The list shows too many tasks to choose from at this point. It is at the moment useless to us and we solved this by creating Jira Issue filter. But this is not the best option.
Would like to have this feature too, currently all old tasks are really interfering with finding the correct ones.
