Overall Planning duration after reopening the planning

Hi,
when planning I can enter the total planning duration, but when I reopen the planning there is only the daily distribution of the overall duration of the time period available and I do not have access to the total time period any more. It would be great to have access to the overall planned time period after reopening when I used the total time period for planning before.
