Currently, estimation is being done at the subtask level but subtask estimation is required for reporting purposes. Without being able to default this checkbox on or off system-wide, there is no way to determine if estimation in reporting is correct. This is a major problem for our client's team as we have several projects that would need to be manually checked.
In the datacenter version, we could have handled this via a script runner call to modify the CSS, but that option is not available to us in the Cloud.
Suggestion is to be make this a custom field instead of part of the Container so it can be defaulted to on or off via an automation or a post function.
Better is to be able to include or not include this as an option in the app that could be disabled or enabled by the administrator so jira customization wouldn't be necessary.
