Log recurring events like daily standups without having to repeat it day by day

It would be great if there was a mechanism to log recurring work to a specific issue (eg. daily standup) without having to use the workaround to connect my calendar as described here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Tempo-Timesheets-and-recurring-events-once-weekly-bi-weekly-etc/td-p/902444 or repeating it every single day.
