Suggestion is to have ability log a time in Jira Dasboards through My Work widget. At the moment, widget is only with read permissions, so no actions can be made by clicking on planned card. Use case: in our company we are using for each developer a dashboard of the main information: efficiency / sprint results and goals and (most important) to log a time every day. So this feature will be a huge success in our case.
