As a user, when I add a Time Record (ie: from Recent or Favorite) to a worklog (day of week), it would be great if:
It would "remember" the previous:
Duration
Start time
End time
By "remember", it could be by means of:
Using the last entry
Using AI to realize a "pattern" of entries
Defining a value to explicitly use.
Example 1:
From my "Favorite" list, I have a Time Record that is entitled "Scrum Meeting".
This activity lasts practically exactly 20m every day from 9:15 to 9:35.
It gets very, very annoying to constantly have to change three fields.
When I drag-n-drop a new "SCRUM Meeting" time record onto my worklog (day), it should "remember" this because that's what I have been doing for the past four years (at least with this specific activity).
Example 2:
From my "Favorite" list, I have a Time Record that is entitled "Statutory Holiday".
This activity is ALWAYS 8 hours, from 9h to 18h.
It gets very, very annoying to constantly have to change three fields.
When I drag-n-drop a new "Statutory Holiday" time record onto my worklog (day), it should "remember" this because that's what I have been doing for the past four years (at least with this specific activity).
Some other time records may vary in duration and start/end times. For this AI would be ideal. Or have an option to preset it to a fixed value, or remember the last entry for this same time record.
All of the above would significantly speed up the time tracking process, with much greater precision and accuracy!
Thank you for your considerations!
