Currently grace periods are granted by manager or team leads who have approve timesheet permission. If we want some other authority to manage grace periods it's not possible. This was brought up by one of our clients. Having a separate permission to grant grace periods would be useful.

Hi,
Currently we are also facing with a similar issue. Legal and financial compliance requires to manage and set grace period from admin side only to prevent any data changes after lock. It is also a requirement from audit perspective. When you give permission to approvers, it overrides the company grace period policy which is managed from the admin screen. So it does not make any sense to set any company wise grace period. Even if you are gonna keep both, admin grace should override any other local user managed grace periods. This is very important and urgent for us.
Thanks for your support in advance.
