We have a use case where folks will do work for the work item meaning they need to log time to the work item, but shouldn’t be able to view the work item. Using the documentation provided by Tempo, it appears that this should be accomplished by giving the user the permission Work On Issues. In testing, they are unable to log time against the work item and staff with Log Work For Others also isn’t working - an error was returned stating “The user does not have permissions to log work on destination project”.
Please make it possible to have someone log time to a work item, that they cannot view/do not have Browse Projects . The idea is the staff working in the sensitive project would say to the restricted staff, use xyz-2 to log your time and it should just work.
