Currently, the Worklog Distribution gadget in Tempo is fixed to a Sunday–Saturday weekly range, which cannot be changed or configured.
Many organizations, including ours, use a Monday–Sunday work week standard. This misalignment causes confusion in reporting and makes it difficult to compare Tempo gadget data with other internal reports and dashboards, especially when using JQL filters like:
worklogDate >= startOfWeek("-6d") AND worklogDate <= startOfWeek()
Feature Request
Please consider adding an option in the Worklog Distribution gadget settings to:
Customize the start day of the week, e.g., choose between Sunday, Monday, etc.
Align the gadget output with the selected date range, making it consistent with JQL filters and Tempo Timesheet reports.
Impact
This enhancement would greatly improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual adjustments, and help teams better align worklog data across systems—especially in regions where Monday is considered the first day of the week (e.g., Australia, EU, etc.).
