Currently, the audit log does not track activities such as closing periods based on scheduler configuration. Based on that, there's no way to know when did the period actually closed (was it 12.00, 1.00, or 2.00 AM + which time zone we are talking about).
It would be beneficial to have this information in the audit log as well.
