When users click on a time slot in Week View within the Resource Planning module, Tempo automatically creates a plan without any confirmation or manual input.
While this is currently expected behavior, it causes unintended plan creation, especially for newbie users or users with sensitive touchpads/mice
This leads to:
Accidental plans and overbookings
Confusion due to inconsistent behavior between Day View and Week View
Inaccurate reporting when plans are created unintentionally
We suggest one (or both) of the following improvements:
Add a setting that allows administrators to disable automatic plan creation in Week View.
Introduce a confirmation pop-up, e.g., “Are you sure you’d like to create this plan?”, before creating a plan.
These changes would improve user experience and data integrity, especially for large teams or organizations training new users.
