We close the period in Tempo before the accounting period is closed in our ERP, and occasionally we need to make changes to time entries. We would like an admin to be able to create, edit, or delete time entries after the period is closed. Without this permission, we have to reopen the period for all users during off hours, quickly make the changes, then re-close the period and hope no one else snuck in edits during that time. Thank you for your consideration!

@Kathleen - Our solution to this was to adopt timesheet approvals as a part of our process. This had two benefits:
It's clear who is done submitting all their time and who still needs follow-up.
Once the timesheets are submitted and approved, they cannot be changed by the individual users. This prevent modification even when the period isn't yet entirely closed.
Maybe this would help you?
