Current limitation
The Status Reminder in Tempo is fixed to the period end date and cannot be configured to trigger at a specific time before the end of the period. This limits its effectiveness for proactive time tracking.

Proposed enhancement: introduce a configurable offset for status reminders (e.g. send X days before the end of the period), combined with extended reporting insights in the reminder email.

Extended idea: reporting and data insights in reminder emails.

Enhance reminder emails with actionable data, not just status.

• Forward-looking planning for the next period

  • Planned hours for the upcoming week

  • Assigned issues vs. planned workload

  • Potential over- or under-allocation

Current period status

- Logged vs. required hours
- Remaining hours to complete
Breakdown by project/activity

• Behavioral insights

  • Trends compared to previous periods (e.g. late logging patterns).

  • Frequent missing entries or inconsistencies

• Alerts/recommendations

  Highlight users at risk of incomplete timesheets.

  • Suggestions (e.g. 'You are missing X hours; check your assigned tasks')

Benefits:

• Earlier awareness → less last-minute time tracking
