Organizations require the ability to enforce daily timesheet submissions and restrict users from modifying or editing their worklogs for previous days once that day's time has been submitted or completed. Currently, native timesheet locking is only available on a weekly or monthly basis, which does not support granular daily compliance requirements.

We need a mechanism to require or prompt users to submit their time entries at the end of each day. Then the ability to automatically lock or restrict edits to a specific day’s worklogs once submitted or after a daily deadline, preventing retroactive changes. We also want support for daily approval workflows, rather than waiting for the end of a week or month.
