Hi there,
We recently tested Project Time Approval with users submitting time across several projects in the same period.
When one project time approval is rejected, Tempo currently sends multiple rejection emails to the user: one related to the timesheet and one for each project affected by the cascade. This can be confusing for the user, especially when only one project was actually reviewed and rejected by a project approver.
Our suggestion is to adjust the rejection email logic so that the user who submitted the timesheet receives only the notifications that are directly relevant:
One email for the global timesheet status.
One email for the specific project where the rejection was actually made.
This would make the notification pattern easier to understand and would reduce unnecessary email noise in multi-project scenarios.
We understand that the internal approval cascade may be necessary for product consistency, audit purposes, or other cases we may not be considering. Our suggestion is only about making the email notifications more focused and easier for end users to interpret.
We are sharing this as a possible improvement in case it helps reduce confusion for customers using Project Time Approval with users working on multiple projects.
Cheers,
M
