Attach files (invoices, receipts) to expenses and fixed revenues in Financial Manager

Problem

In Tempo Budgets (Data Center) files can be attached directly to each expense and each revenue
line. The invoice PDF sits on the entry it belongs to, with filename, size, author, date and an
optional comment. That is how finance and project people work: open the entry, see the invoice.

Financial Manager (Cloud) has no equivalent. An expense or fixed revenue only has description,
amount, category, account, date and recurrence. There is no attachment, and no custom field on
the entry either. Project attributes exist, but they are per project, not per line.

Impact on migrations

When migrating from Tempo Budgets DC to Financial Manager Cloud, everything else maps: scope
filter, budget, timeframe, cost rates, expenses, fixed revenues. The attachments are the one
thing that cannot follow. The only workaround is to put a file name or a link into the
256-character description. That link is not rendered as a link, and the description column
truncates it, so people have to copy text out of a table cell to find a document. For accounting
records with a multi-year retention requirement, this is a weak place to keep the connection
between a booked amount and its invoice.

What we would like

  1. Attachments on Expense and Fixed Revenue entries, the same way Tempo Budgets DC does it
(upload, list, download, delete, optional comment).

  2. REST support in the v4 API: list, upload, download and delete attachments per expense and per
fixed revenue, so migrations and integrations can carry the files over.

  3. If a full attachment feature is too large a step, a URL field (or a custom field per
entry) rendered as a clickable link would already solve most of it.

Why it matters beyond a single customer

Every customer migrating from Tempo Budgets DC to Financial Manager loses this. The DC product
has it, the Cloud successor does not. It is a gap in the migration path, not just a wish.
