Hello,
for our team it would be great if time of estimation could be set only in top-level work types (Epic or Task), the work is then delivered by their children, and we could see the progress on this parent it without the need to set specific estimates on each child.
Could you consider this feature maybe as a turn-on in settings? I have found out that many teams have problems creating estimates on smaller jobs, but see only overall estimate on parent. Then, when "Sub-tasks" count is on in the work item panel, they are confused, as children time logged is shown, but not deducted from parent estimate.
Remaining estimate = Original estimate of parent - Time logged on parent and its children
