Generic Resources in Tempo Planner Merged

Is there any possibility of creating Generic Resources in Tempo Planner to be used in cases where a certain type of resource is required but it has not been decided exactly who will fill that need at the moment of the request / planning).

Thanks

After a successful trial period in our TempoLab Early Access Program, we’re excited to announce a new feature for our Planner cloud customers - Generic Resources. This new feature allows customers to assign generic (unnamed) resources to tasks and plans, either as a standalone placeholder in Planner or as part of Tempo Teams, when the owner has yet to be identified.

This much-requested new feature makes planning future activities more accurate, even when full details are still to be decided.

You can read more about assigning generic resources in our Help Center.

There are 2 scenarios which fit this situation and where a "Generic Resource" would apply perfectly (we had this functionality available in our old EPPM (Planview))

    1. Often when a resource leaves the project (or the firm) the resource is not replaced instantly and this visibility is hard to interpret in Planner without a Generic Resource.

    2. At the planning stages of an Initiative, specific resources are not yet identified but for planning purposes the resources types/roles are (i.e. Java Developer).

    Thanks,
