It is very easy for users to Plan time when they meant to Log time in the My Work Calendar view. Users can do this even when they don' t have Tempo Planner permission.
This is leading to a lot of erroneous plans being entered.
To fix this either introduce a setting to control whether it is possible to Plan time from within My work or disable this if the user does not have Planner Permission

I agree, it should be possible that only certain employees (project managers) are allowed to plan and not all users themselves.
This is causing problems for us as we scale up with Tempo. We have hundreds of employees around the world, that need to have their plans locked by their supervisors.
also, after I've disabled worklogs for a selected project I'm not able to remove tempo button form a menu because of ability to plan which we don't use anywhere especially inside project where time logs are disabled...
In my organization only managers should be able to plan time for their team... This functionality should not be available for team members.

totally agree.
I agree, we have the same issue. It would be nice to have a flag in the permission section to enable/disable this feature
