When we log time or show time logs, it would be very useful to have the possibility to switch between days and hours (like JIRA does with its worklogs)

+1 . Would be more than helpful . Timesheeting by the hour creates potential misunderstanding on the purpose of the tool and what management teams use it for.

ideally the format should be configurable. For instance we report in fractions of an 8h day, in three decimal points for hour accuracy. So for example 8h would be 1.000, 4h would be 0.500, 1h would be 0.125, 30 min would be 0.0625, rounded up to 0.063
It would be very helpful; it should be able to do w, d, h, and even minute.
