Add Option in the Settings to activate / deactivate time logging via check mark in the activity card in my work view

When using the check mark in the activity card to log time the card becomes a time record and the planning data is overwritten by the logged time data.

We need to ensure that the planning data is never overwritten by the logged time data. This is business critical as we relaying on the planning data.

The current behavior is a new feature and at the time when we decided to use your solution the behavior was the good one for us.

So need an additional option in the Settings to activate / deactivate this new behavior logging time via the check mark

Our normal users look in my work view what is planned for them for a specific day and then they log time for it. So from my understanding we use the view as indented. We have users globally in all regions of the world, The risk is extremely high that they will use the check mark, instead logging time separately.

HI, this feature is just a toggle to see or hide plans from Timesheet > MyWork view. This view is intended for logging time and the main use case on this view is not planning. This feature would still allow users to see the plans, .and if they do not wish to convert plans into actual log times then they don't need to click on the check mark.

If your engineers have to plan their time based on the plans created by team lead/managers they can still do so from their planner or Jira issue view. Hope that helps. Let me know! Thanks

The proposed new feature is not a solution. We need to use plans! Our Engineers will look in my work view what is planned for them for a specific day. Then They book time per day for planned issues. So please reopen the idea.

Hi Sybille, we have just release a new feature that allows the user to filter out the plans in the Timesheet >My work view. If you don't wish to use plans in timesheet then this should help you with your use case.
