As I suppose many users are, we are logging our time on a daily basis throughout the day.
That said, it would be a huge help to have a "Day" view of the timesheet calendar.
Then the other days of the week would be hidden, making for less screen clutter as we log our work for the day.

I agree with this. Especially when you have users who are working on a lot of different activities throughout the day. This also needs to feed into the timesheet approver view so that the approver can see the detail of start and end times for activities.
