Currently, the Capacity Planner, or Planner, only facilitates planning at the individual resource level. It would be beneficial to have the option to plan at either the team or resource level. In the initial stages of project planning, particularly during the idea phase, planning at the scrum team level is more effective than at the individual resource level, as changes can occur between the idea and project initiation phases. Planning at a resource level requires considerable labor during project preparation, as a single resource must schedule a team's time and capacity months ahead. If alterations are necessary, that individual must update each resource to account for the changes.
