We use the reports to see a breakdown of when a staff member is on a specific project inferred by the epic that they are allocated to. When staff are allocated there is occasionally a break in the time that they are needed, eg- investigation spike and implementation. This enables us to move our development pool around with more flexibility.
When setting up a Resource Plan we use the description field to enter information about the allocation scope. When grouping plan entries to look at allocations at an Epic level, the inclusion of the Plan tempo field shows a day-by-day entry instead of a cohesive block as it is entered in- this makes it messy as a 2 month block injects a significant number of lines.
The specific feature request: to enable the grouping of plan entries by their description so we are easily able to see when a staff member is required by a project.
This also enables us to see when a staff member is borrowed in case of emergency / incident (or even Leave) by a break in their plan.
