Desired Behavior:

A scroll-to-zoom interaction on the timeline, similar to how calendar applications (Google Calendar, Outlook) handle temporal scaling:

Zooming in (scroll up / pinch out) would expand the visible time range, increasing the pixel-per-minute ratio. Time axis markers would shift from coarse intervals (1 hour) to fine intervals (5–10 minutes). A 30-minute block that was barely clickable at full-day zoom becomes a large, easily draggable region.

Zooming out (scroll down / pinch in) would compress the timeline back to a broader view with coarser tick marks (30 min → 1 hour), giving an overview of the full day.
