Problem: With "Sync Plans with Jira Work Items" enabled, when a work item is transitioned to Done before its planned end date, the synced plan keeps the full allocation until the original end date. Since Done items are no longer synced, changing the due date afterwards has no effect, and synced plans cannot be deleted from the Planner screen. Resources look busy on days they are actually free, which makes capacity planning unreliable (we work around it by reopening the issue, fixing the dates and closing it again, or deleting plans via REST API).
Desired behavior: An option (per project or global) so that when a synced work item is resolved, its plan is automatically truncated to the resolution date (keeping past days and logged history), or alternatively deleted.
Example: Story planned Sep 21 - Oct 8, resolved Oct 6 -> the plan should end Oct 6, freeing Oct 7-8 for other work.
