Hi,

We found an issue while downloading JIRA report to excel where description length was more than 32767 characters, and post deleting ticket where the description was more than 32767 characters we are able to export the report.

Also since there is no restriction of character limit in description field, its difficult to control same as the tickets are raised by end user.

Hence this can be fixed so far only in below 2 possible ways :-

1. Either provide an option to restrict the description field to 32767 characters. OR
2. To truncate the number of characters to 32767 before downloading same in excel.

Only any of above 2 may be permanent fix, else we may have same issues again and again and we have identify such tickets, delete them manually before we export reports in excel.
