Tempo Ideas

In the current Cloud version of the Log Time dialog (11.3.0), the “Time spent” field is highlighted when the dialog opens, but it doesn’t have keyboard focus. Users have to click into the field before typing a duration.

Earlier, users could open the dialog, type the duration and submit right away. Now each worklog needs an extra click on a small field, and that adds up for people who log time many times a day.

Keyboard-only workaround today: 8 Tab presses to reach “Time spent” while the “Tempo is now on Forge!” banner is shown, and 6 after it is dismissed.

Request:

1. Give “Time spent” keyboard focus by default when the Log Time dialog opens.

2. Optionally, let users (or admins) choose which field gets focus by default.
