Currently, the "Maximum number of hours that can be uploaded per day" setting only allows administrators to configure whole-number values.
Many organizations use standard working days that are not exactly 8 hours. For example, some employees may have contractual working days of 7.6 hours. Because of this limitation, administrators cannot accurately configure the daily worklog limit to reflect their organization's working schedule.
Allow administrators to enter decimal values (for example, 7.6, 7.5, or 7.2) when configuring the maximum number of hours that can be logged per day.
Better alignment with contractual working schedules.
More accurate time tracking and compliance.
Reduced need for workarounds when configuring Tempo.
Easier migration from environments where decimal-based daily limits are already in use.
This limitation was identified during a migration project, where existing daily worklog restrictions could not be replicated accurately in Tempo Cloud due to the lack of support for decimal values.
