Scenario: a new employee joins an international enterprise. He joins a team in country X. An active directory account is created for this user and the user is assigned to different groups to grant access to diferent tools and also to mark his location in country X. All the groups from the AD are synced into the Atlassian Cloud (Access) and can be used in the Atlassian Suite. I would like to assign the whole group (country-x) to a Holiday Calendar inside Tempo App, so that every new employee in locations X is automatically assigned to the Holiday Calendar of that location. User Groups also could be used for Teams in the Tempo App, of basically for almost everything, where you are using a user selection field.

With Atlassian moving forward with syncing user groups with native Teams, I think there shouldn't even be a discussion about whether this should be implemented or not. We're getting more and more requests from clients on this topic - to be able to sync groups with Tempo teams.
For me I think a big plus around properly syncing with Atlassian groups (whether AD synced or not) is that your Tempo teams are then always correct. We have had issues with our businesses finance reports being out due to people missing from groups. The whole point is to not have manual effort where possible. It would be great to not have to keep an additional thing manually up to date.
