Our finance team would love it if we could configure a schedule and have an email automatically sent with an Excel/csv attachment of a specific report. Ideally this would be part of the configuration of a saved report.
Example config:
Create your report.
Choose recipients.
Choose schedule (daily/weekly/monthly, plus time)
Choose attachment format (Excel, CSV, pdf)

Every month I have to view saved reports and email them to someone else for our hourly employees. I'd love to be able to set a schedule so these can be run and emailed on a frequency.

Hi Kathryn, can https://ideas.tempo.io/ideas/T-I-525 be implemented along with this, or an option to hide issue summaries for specific projects?
We have projects like HR that contain issues with sensitive content in the summaries that shouldn't be visible to the team viewing the reports.

Thanks, I see this is now slated for Q1 2024 :)

Hello everyone – thank you for upvoting this feature request! A quick update: scheduled reports is part of our 2023 roadmap. We'd love to invite you to a quick call so that we can dive deeper into your use cases. If you have time, we hope you find a slot here (shouldn't be more than 30 minutes).
Looking forward to speaking with a few of you, and we'll keep you all posted on our development.
Thank you,
Kathryn Vargas

Having reports that could run on a schedule that would allow passing data parameters to run for giving period would be very helpful.

For us, being able to email a saved report at end of the week or month would be ideal.
Our accounts are too busy and have no desire to go into JIRA, generate a report and then export it.
Having this automatically emailed would save us a lot of time.

This would be useful because executives or non-technical stakeholders may not have access to Jira, so providing a link to the web view of the Tempo report doesn't work for them.
