Save settings for timesheet periods selected using the date picker

When I'm logging my worklogs I switch between the different views Calendar, List and Timesheet. But, when I select periods in the date picker on Timesheet it's not saved. I have to select the period again when switch to Calendar view and back again.

    We have the need to set our Approval period to Monthly because Tempo does not support approval on a partial week (like a week where the month ends on Wednesday). This supports our month end close. Our users are expected to enter time though on a weekly basis. Therefore it is preferred that they see their timesheet by week instead of month, but this is not currently possible. This feature would be very helpful.
