I would like to use generic resources to forecast planned new hires on a project. In order to do this when a generic resource is added to a team/project it would be helpful if the resource was shown in reports. So for example if I create a report to show the time per user per project I would like the generic resources to be shown on the report.

It would be great if appear in this report:
planned vs. actual report
Hello, this feature is for DC is absolutely crucial for our company. When do you plan to add this?
Please - anyone still subscribed to this idea, can you please vote for the following which is the same request but for ON-PREM (still loyal customers of Tempo!!)

Generic resources are now available for Cloud customers in Planned time report and User Capacity report, you can learn more here: https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-planner/resource-planning/exporting-user-capacity.html
Hi @Dave Toomey,
Could you kindly edit your idea and make it for Cloud & DC please?
Best & thx,
Andreas
Hello Team,
This requirement is actuall quite important from a process perspective and it would be great if this could be prioritized - especially since this feature is going to be enabled for cloud soon according to: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6/TCS-39326
Please backport this functionality as soon as possible to the DC Version of Tempo.
This would also cover the following ideas in this portal:

The use case is as follows and is the most common way that projects are being planned:
Project Managers plan on Generic Resources that are only in 1 “Generic Planning Team” (e.g. Business Analyst, Developper, etc.)
Project Managers have to meet with Team Leads to agree on resource planning. Basically in this step, PM and Team Lead take the Resource Reservation from the generic Resource and assign it to a team member via drag-and-drop on the resource planning view
We do not want project managers or admins to create for each project a team. It is simply too complicated from a tool perspective and from an organizational perspective.
Please prioritize this - it is "just" a reporting functionality!
Best regards & thx,
Andreas
+1 That's a real problem it's not yet implemented. Very hard to plan long term projects.
+1 Our customers would also like to have this feature
+1, when using generic resources for 'planning' purposes i really need the reporting to see where we are coming in under need
Any updates on this? I know generic resources is a new feature but this is really needed so that we can look at our total demand by role to help us understand when we need to hire or look for contractors.
