Bring back percentage allocation (Team commitment)

Please bring back the capability to create resource allocation by percentage of capacity. It is difficult to understand why it was taken away. Working with teams doing large agile projects , by far the best way to handle allocations is via percentage of capacity. It can work as it used to be, just calculate it backwards to hours techicallty.

    I can also see that the name of the idea has been updated to Team commitment. However, this has not been my request so could name be changed back (or label more correctly) to better reflect what is looked after with this idea?

    Hi!

    Hopes went so up when the status of this idea changed! :) In earlier versions this percentage allocation worked for individuals. Allocations seemed to be always on hour basis and percentage was just a calculation field. Having the percentage would bring so much usability back to resourcing that please consider bringing it back. It is difficult to understand why it was taken away, as said, it was just a calculations field.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, this release does not bring back the capability of creating allocations for individuals by percentage of capacity. In Tempo Planner, you can create % allocations on a Team basis, not individual, in the Team Timeline which can be enabled as a Legacy feature in Tempo Settings. The team allocations can be exported in a report, but is not used outside of the Team Timeline.

    It seems I have updated the status of this idea prematurely. Please accept my apologies for this mix up. At the moment we don't have concrete plans to re-introduce this functionality.

    What about the allocation in percentage (not in hours as it is actually on Tempo Planner)?

    With the release of Tempo Timesheets 10.20, customers with Timesheets only are now able to enable Team Commitment for Tempo Timesheets though Tempo Settings Legacy features. Previously, only customers with Tempo Planner installed could enable this feature.
