If I could include story points from Jira in my timesheet reports it would make velocity tracking (a core metric for a development team) extremely simple as I would be able to see the hours spent on a jira ticket right next to the points allocated.
My team could then use this information to more accurately estimate ticket sizes which would allow us to forecast how much work we will complete in a sprint more accurately and the cost involved in each epic. This has MASSIVE value for my team and our stakeholders
