Tempo Ideas

I work for an MSP where we are heavily driven by time tracking. We want to be able to open new issues and start tracking time as quickly as possible. To this end we'd like to see a workflow like this:

• Enter browser plugin hotkey combination (e.g. <SHIFT><CTRL>T)

• A new Tempo tracking window opens

• Populate issue

  • If the current web page is an existing Jira issue, then pre-populate the issue field and start the timer (this is the default today)

  • If the current web page isn't an existing Jira issue

    • Default to search field, where an existing issue can be selected

    • <TAB> to create a new issue, which first starts the timer and then brings up the Jira create modal window. Once the issue is created, it populates the issue field in the existing running tracker
