Jira Clouds doesn't support free alternatives to implement Java code. That is the only actual way of listening to Tempo Timesheets events.
It would be ideal to have Webhooks similar to what Jira have, so the Cloud instances can manage this events.

This is great news and a big step in the right direction. Do you also have plans to support the events attached to the approval process of periods?
Hello everyone, we're thrilled to share that this feature is now available. You can find the documentation here.
Many thanks to everyone who provided feedback and upvoted this feature!

This would be extremely helpful in implementing automations. Would not have to poll for new events regularly but could instead be real time. Would like this so that I can implement a feature to add the worklog description as a comment in the jira issue.
Another reason: there is no way to retrieve user from worklog event in jira automation (jira always says that an initiator is Tempo). Webhook could be an alternative to handle this.
Need that.
This would be really helpful to be able to update Jira issues with the changes made in Tempo Planner (e.g. start time, end time)
As Jira has made official that on premise installation is on end of life the Tempo webhook system is a must have feature
We also want this feature because we want to listen when customers / accounts ar created or changed.
