I’d very much like to be able to plan by Project in a first step and easily change that plan to a specific Epic later on and then change it again to a Task. (We’re not planning on a Subtask level, but perhaps other companies are.)
To help with this, Tempo Planner should show, in the edit popup for plans with a Project scope, a list of Epics that are New or In Progress (i.e. are not Done, or have no Resolution set) within this Project. Likewise, for plans with an Epic scope, show a list of encapsulated and perhaps also linked Issues. The planner could the click on the respective task to change the plan’s scope.
It may also be useful to loosen the scope sometimes, i.e. have a button to choose the parent scope.
