We have a case where we use one Jira project with few tasks for time logging.
Those tasks are related generally with some absences like :
Vacation
Business Trip
Military obligations
Training and Conferences
Sick leave
For us is a great way of tracking time through work logs which are describing those activities. We can easily see in tempo reports of someone's absences and hours count.
But we are now facing one case where we want to have full transparency (so all tempo team members will have the possibility to see other coworkers' work logs from this list above except for one issue).
The case is that we want to prevent tempo team members to see each sick leave days.
Our policy is "An employee's medical information is considered confidential and should be protected by the employer. In such cases, the information shared should be limited to what is necessary and appropriate." This is including also information about sick leave days. (Only a few superiors are having the possibility see those informations).
So we want that people can log their sick leaves but those hours are just visible to a smaller scope of people (not to all certain tempo team members - > how will be the case with other issues and their work logs). (Without changing radically this structure).
