In Jira Automation rules, within the Edit Issue action, the Account can be set to a random fixed value or it can be copied from an issue (Epic, trigger, destination, itself). Within the project configuration, as an admin I can choose one Account assigned to it as the default one. I wish Jira Automation could automatically choose this instead, i.e. basically “copy from project”.
(Obviously this primarily affects legacy issues hat have been created before the default Account had been set, but also issues where the Account has been changed or deleted after its creation.)
