In Structure for Jira, when you edit the start and finish date of a task, the dependent tasks get an error, "schedule conflict." To adjust the dates, you have to manually click each subsequent task and say "respect link" to update the dates based on the dependencies. There should be an option to "always respect link" for manual scheduling so you don't have to repair every conflict one by one.
