Timesheet report with team role and billing rate

Hello,

We need for our business to export a Timesheet report that contain the role set specifically from that Team project or Cost Tracker project. I understand that this isn't possible now.

Our invoicing process involves sending the Timesheet report to the customer along with the invoice. That is why it is very important for us to send the client a report with the contractually negotiated position on that project.

It would be great if you could build a specific report containing the role, worked hours and invoicing value (with an Hourly Billing Rate associated).

Thanks,
Oana

    Here is the bug report I submitted that touches on this topic. I was redirected here.

    To avoid duplicates, Tempo groups Roles and Teams by the most recently added, as per documentation here :
    https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-timesheets/generating-reports/filtering,-grouping-and-sorting-the-data-in-reports.html

    However, this grouping ignores the fact that the timelog is associated to an issue belonging to a project that might not be linked to the team (and thus any of the roles within the team).

    For example :

    Team A (created first) - Projects linked are "Water", "Fire".

    * Bryan, Role "Dev"
    * Carly, Role "Manager"

    Team B (Created most recently), Projects linked are "Earth", "Wind"
    * Bryan, Role "Analyst"
    * Greg, Role "Dev"
    * Carly, Role "Support"

    If I run a report filtered to project "Water", grouped by Role, the timelogs will be grouped as such

    * Bryan's timelogs will be grouped under "Analyst", yet he is "Dev" on the Water project.
    * Carly's timelogs will be grouped under "Support", yet she is "Manager" on the Water project.

    Only in a situation where both Teams are linked to the project "Water" should Tempo have to arbitrarily select and group them by most recent. Expected behavior would be that Tempo group Bryan and Carly's timelogs under a Role that is ultimately linked to the

    Definitely. Our process also involves sending the Tempo report as a PDF.
