This banner is displayed for all users (not just admins) and causes serious concern by some of our users. I receive at least 10 emails per day from regular users asking about it.
IMO, it should only be displayed to admins, since the link in the banner is only accessible to project admins.

Happy to inform you that we have now shipped new versions of Tempo products that hide this banner for everyone except Jira Admins. https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SERVERNEWS/pages/907313244/2020-05-22+Tempo+Timesheets+for+Server+10.16.1+Release
Thanks - I have responded to the original ticket, asking for instructions.
Hi Kevin, it is correct that there is no "setting" in the product to control this, and at the time of responding to the ticked we had not devised a way to do this. After receiving a few complaints about this in the past week or so, we decided to make improvements on how this works, and we tasked our technical team to find a workaround for customers in the meantime. Note that this workaround does require some code changes on the instance. If you are interested in trying this workaround I recommend you respond to the original ticked again - it will be reopened - and I'll make sure it gets the right attention.
My apologies again for how chaotic our response seems, but this issue has been unfolding over the last few days and we have simply been aligning with our teams on how best to resolve it.
Regards,
Hlynur
Hlynur, I had submitted another ticket requesting instructions for hiding the banner, but was told it couldn't be done.

Thanks for the feedback!
Although the original idea behind this design was to help customers avoid Tempo becoming suddenly unaccessible, as a result of Atlassian licence enforcement, we understand that the way it is designed can cause unneccessary frustration within the organisations and we acknowledge that we can do better.
We are working on fixing this so that only Jira admins will receive this notification in the future. We are aiming to deliver this improvement as soon as possible. In the meantime our support team can help with an interim fix to hide the notification banner.
I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused in your operation.
Kind regards,
Hlynur Johnsen
