I have an idea regarding TS in Jira Cloud. The use case is that we have two projects, and each of them has its own project manager. We have a developer working 20 hours on first project, and 20 hours on second project. Currently, resources can only have one manager approve the whole 40 hours, which does not work for our company. We need the option, that one PM approve 20 hours and the second one approve the other 20 hours. Unless the work is not project based the resource manager does not need to approve time. Is there any solution to this?
Thank you,
Chris

Hello everyone, an update: we've introduced a Project Approvals feature directly in Timesheets, which is now available in TempoLab, our early access program, for you to test!
You can now set up Tempo Projects – whose scopes can be JQL filters, Jira epics, Jira projects, or structures – to approve the hours that matter to you. This new feature allows project managers to approve or reject hours independently from each other. However, please note that project approvals cannot be decoupled from the timesheet approval at this stage.

We're excited for you to be among the first to try the feature, and look forward to your feedback.

Hello, is this issue still being considered for development, please? Our scenario is similar to the description where all our developers work across multiple projects and their leaders. This feature would make the Timesheet Approvals very useful.
Hello all – thank you for your patience and feedback. We're actively working on this feature and would love to learn more about how you'd like to work with project-level approvals in Timesheets. If you have time for a quick call, we hope you find a slot here.
Looking forward to speaking with a few of you, and we'll keep you all posted on our development.

This is really good one! And our company need it
Hi,
But it is a different functionality than the TS Approval for a user:
https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-timesheets/timesheet-approvals/submitting-timesheets-for-approval.html
Here you mention:
Team Leads cannot approve their own timesheet.
We would need the project based approve in TS approval process.

Hello,
Cost Tracker is Tempos project focused app that enables you to take informed decision based on the work defined in the scope of the project. You can read more about Project Based Approvals available feature here and we encourage you to try it out.
